If you have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, the Miscarriage Support Group is here to support you in any way they can.

What is the Miscarriage Support Group?

Life after a miscarriage can be lonely, emotional and overwhelming. After suffering 4 miscarriages myself, I felt a horrible emptiness that few people understood.

While the hospitals in Galway provided me with the physical support I needed, there didn’t seem to be anywhere in County Galway I could go for emotional support. I desperately needed to speak to others that had experienced a similar loss to me, to know that how I felt was normal and that I wasn’t alone. That it was ok to grieve for the babies I didn’t get to meet.

I have created this page in the hope that people living in Galway who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage have a place they can come for support and encouragement.

Miscarriage Support Group Galway Meeting

The next meeting takes place on Thursday 25th January at 7 pm in the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry.

Anyone who has lost a baby through miscarriage, whether recently or long ago can come along to remember their baby/babies. Grandparents, siblings, friends are all welcome.
